Our client, a leading African Fashion Retail Brand, is expanding and seeking high profile talent with extensive Retail Operations experience in a Management capacity across Nigeria. We are looking for talented professionals to fill the position of Store Manager in one of their stores in Lagos.

In a Store Manager role within the company culture, you will take ownership of the store as your own business to sell fashion retail products. In this role you will be responsible for engaging with customers on a daily basis.

Your fun, energetic approach to life will see you leading your team by example and also driving an unforgettable customer experience. As part of your role you will be required to engage with the Area Manager regarding stock flow, stock shrinkage, maintaining visual standards, budget management, employee relations and recruitment.

Role Priorities

The Store Manager must:

  • Be able to drive Sales and Turnover
  • Minimize stock losses
  • Have proven people management experience and be able to deliver service with a smile
  • Be the face of our stores in the above mentioned regions and drive a world class customer experience

Roles and responsibilities

In this role you will be required to manage the store operations, including the shop floor, fitting rooms, stock room and general functional areas through the effective execution of company policy, processes and instructions.

Functions include:

• Managing store profitability,
• Reporting on stock issues,
• Managing all administrative documentation
• Identifying current and potential risk issues, as well as
• Managing financial and budget data and
• Ensuring the implementation of effective workforce tasking

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor qualification essential·
  • Previous experience managing a retail store essential
