Our client is a Visual Brand Communication agency specializing in integrated marketing communications, offline advertising and consultancy. They are seeking to hire Account / Project Managers responsible for managing client accounts, client project delivery and business development. They will also work closely with the Business Directors to research and develop new products.

Responsibilities

Client Services

  • Develop and maintain partnership with clients.
  • Determine client services requirements by maintaining contact with clients; visiting operational environments; conducting surveys; benchmarking best practices; analyzing information and application.
  • Grow revenue profitably by actively cultivating client relationship for retention and increased share of wallet.
  • Achieve objectives for client satisfaction by contributing client service information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality and standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying client service trends
  • Prepare monthly reports and statistical representations of client accounts to the directors.

Project Management

  • Prepare detailed project plans, timelines and schedules to meet approved project objectives.
  • Establish project scope, implementation schedule and cost objectives in conjunction with other functional groups.
  • Make sure projects happen on time and achieve client objectives regarding scope, quality, timing and budget - to the highest standard
  • Manage overarching project delivery timelines
  • Identify risks and provide solutions
  • Manage substantial project budgets and resource
  • Ensure clients are proactively managed and know the status of projects at all times
  • Provide progress reports to Directors regarding project status, communications and issues
  • Develop positive relationships with clients, sub-contractors and freelancers.
  • Provide valuable input internally to maintain and improve the overall level of project management within the organisation

Business Development

  • Develop and implement the company’s market expansion strategy to ensure year on year growth. In assigned portfolio.
  • Maintain and grow the company’s current leadership position amongst current clients and potential clients across markets by developing winning proposals.
  • Build and manages sales pipelines for on his/her assigned markets. This includes quality control and being accountable for all BD outputs created and submitted for own focus markets and sectors
  • Lead prospective client engagements and other related meetings, focusing on meeting the ‘right’ managers to push forward any proposed initiatives and proposals.
  • Ensure regular, timely and professional follow-ups.
  • Deliver any relevant sales / business-case presentations for various prospective clients alongside the directors
  • Responsible for regularly updating relevant BD and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and professionalism.

Product & Service Innovation

  • Work with business directors and team members to innovate and package new products and services for designated customer or market segment.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of client management, sales, project management, team and quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver inventive, effective solutions on time, on budget
  • Capable of managing diverse group of people in an intense, idea-charged environment (both internal and external resources)
  • Able to perform under pressure… wear multiple hats, juggle many balls without compromising quality
  • Excellent people skills, confident presenting in meetings and managing clients
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • Knowledge of regional markets and related information including top companies, public sector players and civil society organizations; must demonstrate understanding of organizational hierarchies, connectivity and influence.
  • Excellent computer skills – able to use Microsoft Office to a high standard, Proficiency with Project Management and Excel software, preferred
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree from an Accredited University
  • Minimum of 3 years experience , with a proven agency background who have managed and delivered a wide mix of marketing projects, .with proven expertise in:
  • Client services management, business development and project management including from client pitches, proposal writing, ongoing relationship building, and contract signing.
  • Managing creative projects across an integrated team
  • Project management or production management
