Our client is a Visual Brand Communication agency specializing in integrated marketing communications, offline advertising and consultancy. they are seeking to hire an Ad,in/HR Officer.

The Admin/HR Officer generally handles managing the office budget and maintenance schedule for supplies, equipment and technological systems. Additionally, S/he will handle human resource duties such as new-employee orientation, contracts and payroll issues and provide support for the HR Manager.

Primary responsibilities

  • Oversee centralized operations.Ensure operations run smoothly within departments such as information and data processing, mail, materials scheduling and distribution, printing and reproduction, records management, telecommunications management, security, wellness and safety, and transportation services.
  • Ensure contracts, insurance requirements, and government regulations and safety standards are followed properly.
  • Plan long and short-term maintenance needs.
  • Answer directives from the HR Manager and company executives.
  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, negotiation, and review of contracts related to the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, supplies, products, or services.
  • Handle the acquisition, distribution, and storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide project support to operations teams.
  • Direct facilities staff, including maintenance and logistics workers.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly developed organisational, administrative and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prepare and communicate information clearly and professionally (both verbally and in written form), to prepare statistical and written reports, and to prepare correspondence on behalf of management.
  • Understanding of HR practices and procedures
  • Experience in office management, general administration, HR administration. process development and review, executive support and staff supervision.
  • Highly developed skills in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, and in meeting conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously, problem-solve, and take initiative in the resolution of
  • administrative problems (both systemic and one-off).
  • Capacity to exercise judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Sound ability to identify and develop personal work practices that promote self organisation, accountability and learning.
  • Ability to use the following computer applications and technologies to an Intermediate-High Level: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer

  • A Degree in business administration or relevant
  • Over 3-5 years experience with at least 2 in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Personality wise - must be stable, articulate and flexible
